The Green Bay Packers could sign Najee Harris.

The Green Bay Packers have been predicted to sign veteran RB Najee Harris.

A one-time Pro Bowler, Harris is an unrestricted free agent.

"After his 2025 season, there are more questions than answers about Najee Harris' NFL future," Jacob Infante of PFSN wrote. "He played only three games with the Chargers due to injury, and he turned 28 in March. He shouldn’t be expected to take on the workload he did in Pittsburgh earlier in his career, but he should still be effective for depth as a power back. 2026 Predicted Team: Green Bay Packers."

Harris tore his Achilles tendon last season with the Los Angeles Chargers. He had 15 carries for 61 rushing yards in three games.

The 28-year-old Harris began his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In four seasons with the Steelers, Harris put up 4,312 rushing yards and 28 rushing touchdowns. He made the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2021.

The Packers lost to the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round of the 2026 playoffs. Green Bay hasn't won a playoff game since 2023.

Josh Jacobs' second season with the Packers wasn't as productive as his first year with the team. The three-time Pro Bowler had 929 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns last season. Jacobs, who made the Pro Bowl in his first season with the Packers, had 1,329 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns in 2024.

It will be fascinating to see if the Packers sign Harris. Green Bay was 15th in the NFL in rushing yards last season.
