The Green Bay Packers could begin next season 4-0.

The Green Bay Packers have been predicted to start the 2026 NFL season "hot."

NFL analyst Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report can see the Packers beginning next season 4-0 since Green Bay plays the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"The NFC North has the makings of a true brouhaha this year, and most of the teams in the division have to potential to start the season strong," Davenport wrote. "The Packers only have one true "gimme" game over the first month—a Week 2 trip to Met Life Stadium to take on the Jets. But the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all winnable games—none of those teams made the postseason last year."

Matt LaFleur's group will face the Vikings, Jets, Falcons, Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Bears, Houston Texans and Lions next season.

Green Bay should make the playoffs next season.

The Packers haven't won a playoff game since 2023. Superstar Micah Parsons tore his ACL last season against the Denver Broncos in Week 15. Green Bay didn't win a game after that.

The Packers lost Romeo Doubs to the Patriots in free agency and traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. Without Wicks and Doubs, Green Bay has Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, Savion Williams, Skyy Moore, Jakobie Keeney-James, Isaiah Neyor and Will Sheppard on their roster at wideout for Jordan Love to target.

Love has turned into a solid QB under LaFleur. The QB finished last season with 3,381 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his passes. Love enters next season with 11,535 passing yards and 83 passing touchdowns. He's 27-20-1 as a starter.

Green Bay's defense will probably struggle to begin next season since Parsons won't be ready to play. Many people who cover the NFL believe Parsons will miss the first three or four games of the 2026 season.

Parsons had a stellar first season with the Packers. He finished with 12.5 sacks, 19 solo tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 27 QB hits in 14 games.
