Isaiah McDuffie is very high on the Green Bay Packers.
The Green Bay Packers haven't won a Super Bowl since the 2010 season. Their last playoff win came in the 2023 season and the Packers blew a big lead against the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round of the 2026 playoffs.
Despite Green Bay's struggles in the playoffs lately, Isaiah McDuffie still believes in his team.
"I think we've got everything we need," McDuffie said, via NFL.com. "At the end of the day, it's just finishing. Getting late in the season, just finishing those games when we are up on guys, just putting the nail in the coffin."
Micah Parsons tore his ACL last season against the Denver Broncos in Week 15. Green Bay didn't win a game after that.
Parsons will miss the start of next season, so McDuffie knows he and his defensive teammates have to step up.
"It's all hands on deck," McDuffie said when asked who might step up as Parsons continues his recovery. "We need guys to come in. There's a job to be done at the end of the day. There's an expectation to produce and cause havoc and get after the quarterback. We have a lot of great guys in that room, and I see there's going to be no drop-off there."
The Packers open the 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings. It's time for QB Jordan Love to play like an MVP. After all, Green Bay gave Love a lot of money in 2024. The Packers aren't paying Love to be an average player. They are paying him to be an MVP candidate.
Love signed a four-year, $220 million contract with Green Bay in 2024. He enters next season with 11,535 passing yards and 83 passing touchdowns.
Love finished last season with 3,381 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his passes. He's 27-20-1 as a starter.
The Packers have a new DC in Jonathan Gannon. McDuffie is looking forward to playing under Gannon.
"He's great. He definitely brings a lot to the table," McDuffie said. "Him being a head coach and having the head-coaching experience brings a lot of leadership. ... He definitely brings that juice, and we're having a lot of fun. We're going to do some cool things. I don't want to get too much into it. It's gonna look a little different, but it's going to be fun to watch us, I'll say that."
