There wasn't a single point in that game where Love looked comfortable, and it's not like the Atlanta Falcons have a great defensive front, so one can only imagine how much worse it's going to get from here.
Packers have no protection for Love
If someone didn't watch the game and only looked at the box score, they'd be appalled to see Love threw the ball 53 times. He completed 28 of those passes for 312 yards, and had two touchdowns with an interception that came late in the game.
Somehow, Love was only sacked one time. It's a miracle, but that doesn't mean he wasn't hit throughout the game.
Time and time again, Love stayed in the pocket and took major hits, but it forced a ton of his throws to be off-line.
Not having time to think or let his receivers run the necessary routes is going to result in an offensive disaster for the rest of the regular season.
Losing Zach Bako-Bewele was a massive blow, and this team simply had no answers for the Falcons in their home opener.
Head coach Matt LaFleur basically had to abandon the run game entirely, but it's not like the trio of MarShawn Lloyd, Kaleb Johnson, or Chris Brooks was doing anything noteworthy anyways.
In the end, this team had nine carries for 17 yards against the Falcons. Those numbers feel like a kid is picking up the Madden video game for the first time and only wanted to throw the ball with Love. That's how bad it was.
Through his first three games, Love was hit or sacked 27 times. That's the most any QB has been hit or sacked throughout the first three games of a season in 17 years.
To say this offensive line is historically bad may be an understatement, and there's a strong possibility Love gets hurt at some point in the season if this keeps up.
