Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love shared his thoughts on the receiving core.
The Green Bay Packers have a pivotal 2026 season ahead as they are in the middle of their Super Bowl window with Jordan Love and Micah Parsons.
The Packers will be leaning on some players to step into bigger roles, particularly in the wide receiver room. Green Bay allowed Romeo Doubs to walk in free agency to the New England Patriots and traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Packers will lean on Tucker Kraft, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed, and Savion Williams to play at a high level to maximize the offense.
"We got some weapons," Love said in an appearance on NFL Network.
Kraft is coming off a torn ACL, but he established himself as one of the top tight ends in the league prior to the injury. In eight games in the 2025 season, Kraft hauled in 32 receptions for 489 yards and six touchdowns. He will be a key piece to the offense thriving in 2026.
Watson will be the lead receiver for Green Bay and is coming off his best season, as he finished with 35 receptions for 611 yards and six touchdowns. The 27-year-old could take a leap with Doubs and Wicks out of the picture.
Golden is the receiver the Packers are expecting to take a major leap in the 2026 season. He was Green Bay's first round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and had a solid rookie year, but wasn't utilized much with the logjam of receivers.
Golden finished the regular season with 29 receptions for 361 yards and 49 yards on the ground. In their Wild Card matchup against the Chicago Bears, the 22-year-old had a breakout game, as he had four receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown.
The Packers will also lean on Reed, whom they inked to a three-year, $50 million extension with the team this offseason.
Green Bay has a talented roster and Love is confident in his weapons, which should help them make a push to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Titletown in the 2026 season.
