Change is a part of life in the NFL. The Green Bay Packers are finding that out this offseason.
The big change was defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley being poached by the Miami Dolphins to be their next head coach.
That's far from the only staffing shakeup, though.

That's a ton of change (and there's more to come), but again, that's life in the league. Coaches are always moving up and down the rungs, and oftentimes, those changes mean going to a different team.
It has got to be somewhat hard for a player to get used to, but Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love recently explained what the Packers have to do as they try to wrap their minds around this new staff.
"There are some changes with the coaching staff, and that's expected with every season. It's about how we regroup," Love recently said, according to Mike Clements. "Get some new coaches in there. New faces. Attack this offseason and get that rolling once OTAs start."
"Regroup" is a great word for it. There are a ton of moving parts right now, and we haven't even gotten to NFL Free Agency or the NFL Draft, but the core of this team remains the same.
Head coach Matt LaFleur, general manager Brian Gutekunst, and vice president/director of football operations Russ Ball just got an extension. They're the big three head-honchos at the top under team president Ed Policy.
Speaking of Policy, he clearly favors consistency and stability.
As mentioned, there are going to be personnel changes coming up very soon as well, but the core stars of this team will (likely) remain intact. It starts with Love and Micah Parsons (who will hopefully be healthy early in the 2026 season), but that list also should include Tucker Kraft, Xavier McKinney, Evan Williams, Christian Watson and Jayden Reed, amongst others.
So yes, while chaos goes on around them, the Packers will have to regroup.
They'll also have to figure out what went wrong at the end of the 2025 campaign, which ended on a five-game losing skid.
There will be time for that, though, according to Love.
Part of the regrouping process is figuring out what needs to change to get to a Super Bowl in 2026.
"There will be time to process it," Love said of the 2025 season. "Break down all the film of the season. See what we did good, see what we didn't do as good of a job on, and see what we can improve on going into next year."
