Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had a phenomenal performance in a win over the Chicago Bears.

The Green Bay Packers dominated the Chicago Bears in Week 5, coming away with a strong 31-7 win. Quarterback Jordan Love and the passing attack led the way for the Packers, as he completed 25 of 31 passes for 367 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

The offense was hot from the jump, as Love led a 10-play, 91-yard drive finishing with a 42-yard touchdown pass to Christian Watson. After Xavier McKinney came away with an interception, Green Bay scored again when MarShawn Lloyd ran in for a seven-yard score, which was the first rushing touchdown of his career.

Chicago got their first and only points of the game in the second quarter when D'Andre Swift rushed for a one-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal.

It was all Packers from there, with Love connecting with Watson for a 53-yard touchdown and Lloyd rushing for his second touchdown of the game. The defense played at an elite level, forcing a punt, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a turnover on downs.

Former All-Pro safety McKinney had two interceptions, while linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper had the other. Hopper is playing a bigger role in the Packers defense with star linebacker Edgerrin Cooper out for the season.

The pass rush was also strong for Green Bay, with Devonte Wyatt recording two sacks and Brandon Cisse and Dani Dennis-Sutton each getting a sack. However, the receivers stole the show alongside Love.

Watson finished the day with six receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns, while Matthew Golden had six receptions for 123 yards. Watson and Golden are proving to be stars, as they are consistently getting open downfield, and Love is hitting them in stride.

The offensive line was also strong, as Love had plenty of time to deliver downfield to his star receivers. The only negatives for Green Bay were defensive tackle Javon Hargrave being carted off the field and kicker Trey Smack missing two field goals and an extra point.

Hargrave is a significant loss for the defense, which is already without Cooper for the rest of the season, and superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons has yet to play in 2026.

This is a major win in a division game for the Packers, as they now improve to 3-2. Green Bay will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, and they are squarely in the fight for an NFC North title and a playoff spot.
