Unpacking the hulking additions of Quinton Bohanna and Jordon Riley by the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers are going to do everything they can to replace star defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt. It's not going to be easy, of course, but they have no choice.

If this Super Bowl window is to stay open in 2025, finding a way to at least replace Wyatt's production by committee is going to be vital for the Packers.

Again, that's easier said than done, though. Checking in at 6-foot-3, 304 pounds as a former first-round pick out of Georgia, Wyatt has slowly developed into a star for the Packers over the past four seasons.

He's as good at stopping the run as he is getting after the passer. Before he went down on Thanksgiving day with a season-ending ankle injury, he had notched 27 tackles, four sacks, 4.5 "stuffs" and two passes defended.

The Packers have some in-house options when it comes to getting some more beef in the middle of the defensive line, but they recently also added two defensive linemen in free agency who they are hoping will help them in the home stretch.

Those two players are Quinton Bohanna and Jordan Riley.

Getting to know Quinton Bohanna

The big thing the Packers need right now in the middle of their defensive line is size. We saw against the Chicago Bears that they struggled to stop the run a bit in the second quarter, so getting a big run-stuffer like Bohanna could be helpful.

He's 6-foot-4, 327 pounds and has been in the NFL for five seasons. In 39 career games, including 13 starts, he's notched 42 tackles (3 TFL). He's played for the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks.

The Pack claimed Bohanna off waivers after he was released by the Seahawks this past weekend.

Bohanna was selected in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cowboys. He played at Kentucky and was known as a dominant run-stuffer in his college days.

Getting to know Jordan Riley

Riley is another big guy who checks in at 6-foot-5, 338 pounds. He's a former seventh-round draft pick of the New York Giants from the 2023 NFL Draft. He played in 12 games last season for the Giants and started five.

He didn't make the team this summer, and the Packers picked him up as a free agent.

Notably, he does have a tie to Green Bay. In the offseason, Riley worked out with Packers defensive tackle Colby Wooden and Giants' All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence.

"Jordon's a heavy-handed guy," Wooden said via the Packers' website. "He comes from the Giants, where they played a lot of shade, a lot of zero (technique). They've done a lot of different things. For him to come in, it's going to be an easy transition I feel like. He's a get-along guy. He goes along. He doesn't cause any (issues). For us, he's going to be great. He's going to fit right in with us."

Riley made his rounds in this new era of college football, where player seemingly transfer left and right. He played at North Carolina, Garden City Community College, Nebraska and Oregon.

Ultimately, he's just excited to have the opportunity to contribute in Green Bay.

"I'm blessed bro. Excited. Just excited, man," said Riley. "Watching TV at home, then getting a call from my agent telling me I got (signed). Man, never moved so fast in my life. Opportunity just to be around some winning culture, man. Something in the tradition here, bro, I was doing some research and just all the things that happened here."
