Green Bay Packers fans endure Super Bowl pain, while Micah Parsons anticipates an elite receiver-cornerback duel.

Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots may be a tough game for fans of the Green Bay Packers to watch.

On one side are the Seahawks. There is a ton of bad blood between the Packers and Seahawks, and Green Bay has come out on the losing end of quite a few intense moments. We're talking about the "Fail Mary" and the 2014 NFC Championship game --- two painful examples.

On the other sideline, we've got the New England Patriots. There aren't a ton of grudges between the Packers and Patriots, but there is history. Brett Favre and the Packers beat the Pats in Super Bowl XXXI. One can make the case that the Patriots are and have been who the Packers claim to be.

Green Bay is known as "Title Town", but it's the Patriots that just made it to their 12th Super Bowl and they've won the Lombardi Trophy six times since the turn of the century.

The Packers have won it just once in that same span of time.

Again, it's painful.

As such, it would make sense if Packers fans decided to sit this one out and start thinking about NFL free agency or the 2026 NFL Draft.

It's worth noting that superstar pass-rusher Micah Parsons will be tuning in, though, and he's tuning in for one specific reason.

He wants to watch the matchup between Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez.

These are two of the best players in the NFL, and there's a strong chance they'll square off head-to-head quite a few times in the Super Bowl.

Smith-Njigba caught 119 passes for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. In the playoffs, he's caught 13 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns. That includes 153 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's NFC Championship game win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Gonzalez notched 69 tackles (54 solo) and 10 passes defended this season. In the playoffs, he's tallied 15 tackles (11 solo), four passes defended, one sack, one forced fumble, and a game-sealing interception in the AFC Championship game.

Elite players do elite things, and JSN and Gonzales are without a doubt elite.

Making matters more painful for Packers fans, though, is that both could have been wearing green and gold.

Gonzales was selected with pick No. 17 in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Oregon. JSN was selected with pick No. 20 out of Ohio State.

The Packers selected Lukas Van Ness out of Iowa with pick No. 13.
