The Green Bay Packers improved to 8-3-1 on the season after beating the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.
The Packers are in second place in the NFC North and currently hold the second Wild Card spot.
Green Bay faces the rival Chicago Bears this Sunday. The Bears are 9-3. They are in first place in the NFC, so it's a huge game for the Packers.
Multiple NFL analysts think the Packers are the fifth-best team in the NFL heading into the Bears game. ESPN's Rob Demovsky and Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski have Green Bay at No. 5 in the latest NFL power rankings.
The Packers are 10th in the league in points per game and sixth in points per game allowed.
With Jordan Love leading the offense and Micah Parsons anchoring the defense, Green Bay believes it can win the Super Bowl this season for the first time since Aaron Rodgers led the franchise to the title in Super Bowl XLV.
Parsons and Love were friends before the Packers acquired the former Dallas Cowboys star, which is why Parsons hasn't been surprised to see Love killing it this season.
"That's who he is," Parsons said about Love after the Packers beat the Lions. "He's going to show up. Injured, hurt, he's going to fight for his guys and play at the highest level. J-Love's the ultimate competitor. There's not too many quarterbacks that fight like him, through everything he's going through -- all the injuries. He just comes in and he works. It's starting to show off. The jump he's making this year is night and day."
Love has 2,794 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns on the season. He's completing 67.0% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Parsons has 12.5 sacks, 18 solo tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 24 QB hits. The Packers' blockbuster trade for Parsons has paid off in a big way.
