Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love was on fire against the Detroit Lions.

Against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, Jordan Love showed why the Green Bay Packers drafted him while Aaron Rodgers was still on the team.

Love went 18 of 30 through the air for 234 yards and four touchdowns. He's the first Packers QB with multiple touchdown passes on fourth down in the same game since at least 1978.

NFL analyst Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report revealed who special Love was against the Lions, giving the gunslinger a grade of A.

"Toyotathon has become the favorite holiday among Green Bay Packers fans," Sobleski wrote. "Jordan Love has thrived during Toyota's annual Q4 sale. While the performance is merely coincidentally, it's clear the quarterback excels late in the regular season. He's doing so again this year.

"After Love posted a Toyotathon pic on Instagram, the Packers won two games in the matter of five days, including Thursday's meeting with the rival Detroit Lions. Love threw four touchdowns during the holiday contest."

Love and the Packers swept the Lions this season after losing both games to Detroit in 2024. Love has never lost on Thanksgiving.

Despite dealing with a left shoulder injury, Love played like a superstar against the Lions, which didn't shock Micah Parsons.

"That's who he is," Parsons said. "He's going to show up. Injured, hurt, he's going to fight for his guys and play at the highest level. J-Love's the ultimate competitor. There's not too many quarterbacks that fight like him, through everything he's going through -- all the injuries. He just comes in and he works. It's starting to show off. The jump he's making this year is night and day."

In three Thanksgiving games as the starter, Love has completed 68% of his passes for 776 yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions. He rises to the occasion in big games.

Love has 2,794 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns on the season. He's completing 67.0% of his passes and only has three interceptions.

The Packers face the Chicago Bears this Sunday. The Bears are 9-3. They are in first place in the NFC North and the entire NFC, so it's a huge game for Love and Co.
