One NFL analyst took a big shot at Green Bay Packers G Aaron Banks.

Just because it's the NFL offseason doesn't mean players can't get bashed.

NFL analyst Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report recently wrote a story titled "Every NFL Team's Most Overpaid Player Following Peak 2026 Free Agency," and when the Green Bay Packers came up, Gagnon went with Aaron Banks.

Gagnon doesn't think Banks has done anything to warrant his "seventh-highest-paid guard" salary.

"The bar is ridiculously high for Jordan Love and Micah Parsons based on their monster contracts, but neither has disappointed broadly and we wanted to go outside the box a bit more. Enter Banks, a big-money 2025 addition who struggled out of the gate and finished the season ranked 44th among 57 qualified guards at PFF. The 28-year-old has done little in five years to indicate he should be the seventh-highest-paid guard in the league."

The Packers signed Banks to a four-year, $77 million contract before last season. Banks spent the first four years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers.

Banks finished last season ranked 44th among 57 qualified guards at PFF. That has to be better in 2026 for the veteran to earn his massive salary.

The Packers lost to the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round of the 2026 playoffs. Green Bay hasn't won a playoff game since 2023.

Jordan Love has turned into a solid QB under head coach Matt LaFleur. Love finished last season with 3,381 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his passes. His numbers could be better next season if Banks does a more suitable job of protecting him.

Let's see how Banks plays in Year 2 with the Packers, who didn't win a game last season after losing superstar Micah Parsons to an ACL tear.
