The NFL announced huge Jordan Love news on Wednesday, as the Green Bay Packers QB is the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 13.
The Packers beat the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving behind Love.
"Love carved up the rival Lions on Thanksgiving, leading the Packers to a 31-24 victory," per NFL.com. "Love racked up four touchdown passes on the day, a season best that matched a career high. He also had 234 yards on 18-of-30 passing with no interceptions and a 124.2 passer rating. This is Love's second Player of the Week this year and the fourth of his career."
Love went 18 of 30 through the air for 234 yards and four touchdowns against the Lions. He's the first Packers QB with multiple touchdown passes on fourth down in the same game since at least 1978.
Love and the Packers swept the Lions this season after losing both games to Detroit in 2024. Love has never lost on Thanksgiving.
Despite dealing with a left shoulder injury, Love played like a superstar against the Lions, which didn't shock Micah Parsons.
"That's who he is," Parsons said. "He's going to show up. Injured, hurt, he's going to fight for his guys and play at the highest level. J-Love's the ultimate competitor. There's not too many quarterbacks that fight like him, through everything he's going through -- all the injuries. He just comes in and he works. It's starting to show off. The jump he's making this year is night and day."
In three Thanksgiving games as the starter, Love has completed 68% of his passes for 776 yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions. He rises to the occasion in big games.
Love has 2,794 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns on the season. He's completing 67.0% of his passes and only has three interceptions.
The Packers face the Chicago Bears this Sunday. The Bears are 9-3. They are in first place in the NFC North and the entire NFC, so it's a massive game for Love and Co.
