It was great to hear from Jayden Reed.

Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed met with reporters for the first time since undergoing two surgeries.

Reed had surgery after breaking his collarbone in Week 2. He also had surgery on his foot injury.

"It felt great just to go back out there with the guys and be able to fly around again," Reed said on Friday. "Everything feels great right now. I'm just following the protocol and just waiting for my number to be called. I don't know when I'll be back. Hopefully, it's soon."

Before hurting his collarbone in Week 2, Reed had three receptions on the season for 45 yards and one touchdown. He led the Packers in receiving each of his first two years in the NFL.

"I think we got the full package, man," Reed said. "I can name everybody in the room that can contribute in so many different ways, so it's just great seeing those guys going out there and do what they do. I'm just excited to see it all come together for this run we gotta make."

The Packers are 6-3-1 on the season. They are in second place in the NFC North standings.

Reed is excited to get back on the field for the Packers, who have seven games left on the season.

"I'm definitely a piece that can help the team," Reed said. "I just hound myself on like bringing juice. So I always say if you juiceless, you useless, so like that's whether you're on the field, off the field, just bringing juice, bringing energy within the team. I'm just one of those guys."

Reed has appeared in 35 games with the Packers. He has 122 receptions for 1,695 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Packers WR Christian Watson, who missed the beginning of the season recovering from his ACL injury, is happy to see Reed back.

"It's big, it's big," Watson said. "Obviously J-Reed's a big part of our offense. So the quicker he can hit the ground running and get out there with us, the better the team will be."

The Packers face the Minnesota Vikings this week. Reed has already been ruled out for the game.
