Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is one of the Top 100 players in the NFL heading into 2026. Actually, he's better than that. According to the "NFL Top 100" rankings ahead of the 2026 season, Love is a Top 75 player in the league.
Specifically, he checks in at No. 72 overall in the rankings, which are voted on by the actual players in the league.
"When Love is at his best, his game parallels just about any gunslinger in the game," wrote Grant Gordon of NFL.com.
Love is coming off a 2025 season in which he played like an MVP candidate at times. He threw for 3,381 yards and 23 touchdowns with just six interceptions. His QBR of 72.7 was the third-best in the league, behind only Drake Maye and Brock Purdy.
QBR is a metric created by ESPN that evaluates a quarterback's performance on a 0 to 100 scale. QBR measures a quarterback's contributions to winning and includes passing, rushing, sacks, fumbles, penalties and situational context.
Love also boasted a +0.24 EPA (Expected Points Added) per dropback in 2025.
The EP of that formula stands for expected points for the team with the ball at the start of each play, and it factors in down, distance to go, field position, home-field advantage, and time remaining
Essentially, the higher the number, the more positive plays the player has made. Love's EPA was second-best in the NFL behind only Maye last season. His total EPA of 120.85 was also the second-best in the league behind Maye.
Love's 66.3% completion percentage last season was a career-high.
Yes, these numbers get a bit nerdy, but what they tell us is that when Love has the ball in his hands, good things tend to happen.
"He's just fearless. He believes he can make every throw," said teammate Micah Parsons, who, in part, wanted to be traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Packers so that he could play with Love.
"He knows when to take his shots and then he's making big-time plays for their team," Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean told NFL.com.
Former teammate Romeo Doubs also praised Love's decision-making and decisiveness as a quarterback.
"You can't really find that nowhere else man," said Doubs of Love.
