Green Bay Packers star Jordan Love was ranked toward the bottom of quarterbacks entering Week 4.
The Green Bay Packers have seen better days, with the team sitting at 1-2 to open the new NFL season.
Green Bay has struggled out of the gate, leading to many believing that there is a hangover factor from last season. To end the year, the Packers lost four straight games to end the 2025 season, including a wild-card playoff game against the rival Chicago Bears.
So, the beginning of this year has cause a lot of concern around the Packers. Green Bay's offense just hasn't looked the same, with the defense also showing signs of cracking.
Quarterback Jordan Love has done what he can to help keep the team alive, but it just hasn't been enough. The lack of a running game has caused the Packers to be very pass- focused, and opposing defenses have been able to easily scheme against them.
Love was able to generate a few garbage time scores last week against the Atlanta Falcons to make a blowout look not as lopsided. But otherwise, he has struggled to find any rhythm this season.
After another poor performance, the veteran has slipped down a new quarterback ranking from NFL.com entering Week 4. Love is now ranked in Tier 5 of quarterbacks, sitting at No. 26, dropping down nine spots from a week ago.
For the season, Love has thrown for 844 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions. The veteran hasn't been able to use his legs at all this year, leading to more issues within the offensive gameplan.
While Love isn't the top mobile quarterback in the NFL, he does have the ability to extend plays with his legs. The veteran rushed for 199 yards last season, but he sits at zero rushing yards entering Week 4 of the year.
Green Bay will be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week, with the team heading back on the road. Going up against the Buccaneers does offer the Packers a chance to get a win, with Tampa Bay starting a rookie in the game.
But the Packers can't overlook this group, especially with them entering the game 0-3 on the season. Tampa Bay will be playing with a sense of desperation and urgency, even with the rookie starter, and Green Bay has to take them seriously.
The Packers still have a lot in front of them this season, and a win over Tampa Bay could go a long way. But this team needs to start picking up victories soon; otherwise, they could run the risk of falling into a tough hole to climb out of.
