The Green Bay Packers could land this monstrous player in the NFL Draft.
The Green Bay Packers have some pretty glaring defensive needs heading into the NFL Draft, with the most obvious holes being at cornerback and edge rusher.
However, the Packers could also use some more depth in the trenches, so it's entirely possible that they select a defensive tackle at some point later this month.
Green Bay does not have a first-round pick, so general manager Brian Gutekunst will have to maneuver carefully in trying to fill roster holes. But because this is a pretty deep class at defensive tackle, he should be able to find some intriguing options on Day 3.
Matt Schneidman of The Athletic recently named some potential middle-to-late round prospects for Packers fans to monitor between now and the draft, and one player in particular jumped off the page: Florida State defensive tackle Darrell Jackson.
"With the Packers set to employ more 3-4 base defense principles, even if they’ll play nickel defense for the vast majority of snaps, they could use more brute size up front," Schneidman wrote.
Jackson would definitely fit the bill there.

The closest thing Green Bay has to a pure nose tackle might be Nazir Stackhouse, a 2025 undrafted free agent. Jackson played nose for the Seminoles and projects as such in the NFL at 315 pounds," Schneidman added.
Jackson stands 6-foot-6, so he would definitely be an imposing presence for the Packers on the interior. He may not be the most athletic player around, but his length and his sheer size should make him a disruptive force on the NFL level.
The Havana, Fl. native registered 45 tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack during his final season at Florida State. Some more TFLs would have been nice, but he did manage an impressive 81.3 run defense grade at Pro Football Focus.
And again, we are likely talking about a Day 3 pick here. Jackson could potentially go as high as the third round, but most have the 22-year-old tabbed as a fourth-round selection in this year's draft.
The Packers have a fourth-rounder at No. 120 overall. If they've already taken care of some of their other needs by then and have the chance to select Jackson at that spot, they may end up with one of the biggest steals of the draft.
Green Bay currently have seven draft picks in total.
