Green Bay Packers superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons gave an update on his recovery.

The Green Bay Packers had Super Bowl hopes heading into the 2025 season after acquiring superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys for Kenny Clark and two first-round picks in the offseason.

Parsons elevated the Packers' defense, and they were playing at an elite level, with a 9-3-1 record and holding a lead over the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the Denver Broncos, in Week 15.

That's when it all went wrong for Green Bay, and they never recovered. Superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons went down with a torn ACL in that game, and the Packers went on to lose and didn't win a game the rest of the season.

In 14 games, Parsons' impact was felt, as he had 41 total tackles, 12.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 26 quarterback hits.

He put a ton of pressure on the quarterback and allowed his teammates to thrive around him, as opposing offenses had to double-team and chip him.

Parsons played so well that he was named a first-team All-Pro despite missing the final three games of the regular season.

However, the Packers suffered an epic collapse to end the season, culminating in their loss to the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card Round.

With Green Bay now focused on next season, Parsons's return is among their biggest priorities. Parsons wants to be ready by Week 1, but he realistically expects him to return by Week 3.

It would be pivotal for the 26-year-old superstar pass rusher to return early in the season, and the possibility shows that his rehab is going well.

"The fans have been so amazing, so sweet. I see the messages they send, the prayers that they send me. People offer me their knees and all types of stuff. The love and support from the fans has been so amazing. They’re kind of the motivation that you need," Parsons said.

Green Bay has a lot of question marks as they head into the offseason, but getting Parsons back on the field will give them a chance to be Super Bowl contenders in the 2026 season.
