The Green Bay Packers could bolster the offense with a trade for this offensive lineman.

The Green Bay Packers got some life against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past weekend, earning a big win.

But the Packers 2026 season as a whole hasn't gone to plan, and this team has been trying to figure out the best way forward. Green Bay has gotten off to a slow start, especially on the offensive side of the ball, leading to some problems on the field.

Coming into Week 5 of the NFL season, the Packers do own a record of 2-2, but this team hasn't played well at all. One of the bigger problems for the Packers has been the play from the offensive line, forcing quarterback Jordan Love to run for his life.

Due to inconsistency and injuries, the Packers have been signing multiple players, seeing what can stick, if anything. But this isn't a recipe for success, and eventually it could hurt the Packers' chance to win more games.

At some point, the front office may need to look into a trade for a starting lineman, adding more depth to this roster. Green Bay has the tools to get a deal done, but it's more of a matter who they could target.

NFL analyst Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report listed veteran Walker Little as an option for the Packers to consider, and the fit does make sense. Little lost his starting job with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he could be a solid addition for Green Bay for the rest of the way.

Little could help protect Love, keeping the star quarterback upright for the remainder of the season. While he isn't a perfect player, Little is much better than the options that the Packers currently have to use.

Green Bay has to do something to address the offensive line; otherwise, the rest of the year could be tough for this franchise. The Packers didn't give up a sack or much pressure to the Buccaneers, which is a start, but this trend will have to continue as the year moves forward.

This team has legitimate title aspirations, despite the way that they have played to open the new season. For the Packers, addressing the offensive line right now could change everything for this group, giving them back the confidence needed to go all the way.

Green Bay has the talent to be a very solid team this season, and they just haven't lived up to the high expectations so far. There is still plenty of time to turn things around in 2026, and the Packers could start by making a trade to add.
