Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich shared a bold take on center Sean Rhyan.

The Green Bay Packers signed center Sean Rhyan to a three-year, $33 million deal that can reach up to $39 million.

Rhyan took over the starting center role for the Packers after Elgton Jenkins went down with an injury in Week 10 of the 2025 season.

They released Jenkins earlier in the offseason, which paved the way for Rhyan to return as their long-term starting center.

"He stepped up and took control of it," Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said. "Make mistakes, for sure, but as we progressed through the season, he kept getting better and better."

Green Bay is relying on their offensive line to step up in 2026, as Jordan Morgan takes over the starting left tackle spot for Rasheed Walker, who left for the Carolina Panthers in free agency.

The offensive line is the biggest question mark for the Packers entering the 2026 season with Morgan, Aaron Banks, Rhyan, Anthony Belton, and Zach Tom. It's an unproven unit that could make a break on how far of a run Green Bay goes on.

Quarterback Jordan Love is coming off the best season of his career, where he completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions. The 27-year-old also added 199 yards on the ground on 47 carries.

For Love to be maximized, the offensive line will need to perform at a high level. They will also need to be powerful in the run game.

Josh Jacobs is coming off a productive year, rushing for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns on 234 carries. He also hauled in 36 receptions for 282 yards and a touchdown.

However, they don't have another reliable running back behind Jacobs. They re-signed Chris Brooks to a new deal, but his role is more of a pass blocker, coming in on passing downs.

The Packers are hoping MarShawn Lloyd will assume the second running back role as their third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, Lloyd hasn't been healthy in his first two seasons, appearing in only one game, where he rushed for 15 yards on six carries.

Green Bay will need Rhyan, and the offensive line will be pivotal for making a Super Bowl run in 2026.
