The Green Bay Packers are being predicted to land this 6-foot-6 defensive star in what could be viewed as a reach in the NFL Draft.

The Green Bay Packers have some glaringly obvious needs heading into the NFL Draft, and while cornerback is their No. 1 hole, they also need some help at edge rusher.

Micah Parsons is recovering from a torn ACL, Rashan Gary was traded and Kingsley Enagbare signed with the New York Jets in free agency.

Even with a healthy Parsons, the Packers could stand to add some more depth on the edge, so they are expected to address the position at some point in the draft.

Remember: Green Bay does not have a first-round pick this year, so it will have to get really creative next week.

Dane Brugler of The Athletic believes that the Packers will jump on a pass rusher with their top draft choice at No. 52, predicting them to land Penn State star Dani Dennis-Sutton in his recent seven-round mock draft.

Dennis-Sutton is one of the more polarizing prospects in this year's class. While some do view him as a second-round pick, others feel that he could actually slip to the early stages of Day 3, making him a bit of a reach with the 52nd overall selection.

That being said, it's hard not to like what Dennis-Sutton brings to the table.

First of all, the 22-year-old brings elite size to the table, as he stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 260 pounds. He also possesses freakish athleticism and actually ranked No. 1 in NFL.com's athleticism score at the Scouting Combine.

Additionally, Dennis-Sutton is not one of these edge rushers that is more potential over production. He absolutely produced in college and just racked up 42 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in his final season at Penn State. He posted nearly identical numbers in 2024, as well.

The question is whether or not Green Bay would be reaching to land him so early. However, because the Packers do not pick again until No. 84, they may want to just pull the trigger on Dennis-Sutton in the second round if they really like him.

Personally, I feel like Green Bay should prioritize cornerback over everything else in this draft, and Brugler has the Packers selecting Ohio State's Davison Igbinosun at No. 84. But they might be better off nabbing one at No. 52 and circling back around to edge rusher in the third round.
