The Green Bay Packers have lost one of their pass rushers to the New York Jets.

The Green Bay Packers are losing one of their pass rushers in free agency as Kingsley Enagbare has signed with the New York Jets on a one-year, $10 million deal.

Enagbare has been a rotational pass rusher for the Packers over the last few seasons and is a tough loss for Green Bay.

The Packers traded pass rusher Rashan Gary earlier in the day to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2027 fourth-round pick. With Gary and Enagbare out the door, Green Bay desperately needs to add pass rushers.

In the 2025 season, Enagbare finished with 39 total tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, and nine quarterback hits.

While he wasn't their top pass rusher, the Packers now have a bigger hole on the opposite side of Micah Parsons.

Parsons is a superstar pass rusher, as he finished with 41 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, and 27 quarterback hits.

However, Parsons went down with a torn ACL at the end of the season, and he may not be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season.

Green Bay does have some young talent that they believe in off the edge, including 2025 fourth-round pick Barryn Sorrell. In his limited snaps for the Packers in his rookie season, he finished with 15 total tackles, one tackle for loss, 1.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.

Sorrell will take on a bigger role, but Green Bay could use one more reliable pass rusher plus more depth at the position.

New defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon had his best success when he was with the Philadelphia Eagles, leading them to the Super Bowl. On that defense, they had one of the best pass rushes in the league.

Brian Gutekunst and the Packers front office have been aggressive thus far this offseason, trading for Zaire Franklin, trading away Gary, and extending Sean Rhyan. However, they still have some more work to do to round out the roster for Super Bowl contention in 2026.

With Gary and Enagbare both out the door, the pass rush outside of Parsons becomes one of their biggest needs.
