The 5 Best Green Bay Packers From the 2025 Season cover image

Despite a brutal playoff exit, these five Green Bay Packers delivered standout performances, proving their mettle throughout a rollercoaster 2025 season.

It ended poorly, to say the least. The Green Bay Packers blew a 21-3 halftime lead against their arch-rival, the Chicago Bears, in the wild card round of the NFC playoffs. That's the only thing most fans will be thinking about for the rest of this offseason, but let's not let the way things ended overshadow several great personal campaigns from this past 2025 season.

Yes, it was largely disappointing. From looking like true Super Bowl contenders early on to finishing the deal on a five-game losing streak. Talk about an up-and-down campaign.

And yes, injuries played a huge role in the disappointment. It can't be overstated what losing Tucker Kraft, Devonte Wyatt and Micah Parsons at various points in this season meant to the way things played out.

You could make the case that if those three players were healthy, the Packers may still be playing right now.

That's not a valid excuse, though, and, as mentioned, there were still many individual performances that were good enough to elevate this team to the playoffs.

Sadly, the team's performance as a whole toward the end of the season was disappointing, but these five players deserve a shoutout.

Honorable Mention:

Tight end Tucker Kraft was en route to an All-Pro season with 32 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns before his campaign was cut short because of a torn ACL.

5. Christian Watson

This was the season that Christian Watson proved that he has what it takes to be a WR1 in the NFL. He only played in 10 games because he spent half the season on the injured reserve, coming back from a torn ACL he suffered at the end of the 2024 season.

Watson was dynamic in those 10 games, though, to say the least. He caught 35 passes for 611 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 17.5 yards per catch. He also added another touchdown in the wild card loss to the Bears.

4. Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs played injured for much of this season, but he still rushed 234 times for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games played.

He literally limped to the finish line as he dealt with a knee injury he suffered in mid-November, but he never quit on the team and he even reportedly got into fights with head coach Matt LaFleur because he wanted to play while the team thought it was best for him to rest.

Jacobs is a Packer through and through.

3. Quay Walker

Quay Walker is an unrestricted free agent in 2026 and the Packers must do everything they can to bring him back.

Not only is he one the leaders of Green Bay's defense, but he was incredibly productive in 2025.

He finished the season leading the team in tackles with 128 (58 solo). He also notched 2.5 sacks, 9.5 stuffs and five passes defended.

2. Jordan Love

Jordan Love proved in 2025 that he has the talent to be a Top Five quarterback in the NFL. There are still some lingering questions about whether or not he has the "it" factor when it comes to clutch moments, but the talent and the numbers are undoubtedly there.

Love finished the season with 3,381 yards and 23 touchdowns compared to six interceptions. His average QBR of 72.9 was second-best in the NFL and his average passer-rating of 101.2 was sixth-best amongst all NFL quarterbacks.

Despite the loss, Love was also great in the playoff game. He completed 24-of-46 passes for 323 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

1. Micah Parsons

If you want to know the true impact of Micah Parsons for the Packers, consider this: The Packers went 9-3-1 with him on the field. After he tore his ACL in the game against the Denver Broncos in mid-December, the Packers finished 0-5.

Parsons finished this season with 41 tackles (19 solo), 6.5 stuffs, two forced fumbles, one pass defended and 12.5 sacks in 14 games.

He was projected to finish a 17 game season with 15 sacks, so we were truly robbed of his greatness when he went down with that injury.
