The Panthers have some work to do to get the win this week.

The Carolina Panthers are entering Week 9 of the NFL season looking to bounce back following another poor outing last week.

Carolina lost to the Green Bay Packers on the road, seeing their record drop down to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers have now lost two games in a row, and the schedule doesn't get any easier from here.

This team will be hosting the Denver Broncos this week, giving itself a tough challenge to overcome. Denver has started the year 6-2 on the season, and they are coming off a massive win over the Kansas City Chiefs a week ago.

The Panthers will need to execute their game plan in this game, hoping for the offense to reignite against a tough Broncos defense. But if Carolina isn't careful, the strong start to the year could all be for nothing if they drop this game.

Entering the game, experts Gary Davenport, Brad Gagnon, Kris Knox, Moe Moton, Brent Sobleski, Wes O'Donnell, and Ian Hanford of Bleacher Report made picks for the matchup. But only two of the seven went with Carolina to defend home field this week,

Davenport and O'Donnell were the two to pick Carolina to win the game, with the majority showing a lack of faith in the team. The Panthers' explosive offense has faltered in recent weeks, limiting what the team can do on the field.

After what looked like an early-season campaign for MVP, quarterback Bryce Young has fallen back to earth again. Young has still put together a nice season, but his lack of performance over the last few weeks has hurt this team.

Against the Broncos, Young is going to have to find a way to get the offense going again, which could be easier said than done. Denver has one of the better defenses in the game, and they like to wear offenses down throughout games.

Young has shown more poise in the pocket this season, but teams have been able to make him uncomfortable recently, leading to poor play. The Panthers do have a strong wide receiving core that could cause problems, especially with the Broncos dealing with some injuries.

This is going to be one of the keys in the game, and if Carolina can break through, they may have a shot at winning the game.

Kickoff for the game between the Panthers and Broncos is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.
