The Carolina Panthers have revealed an injury report before their game against the Cleveland Browns, with two key players listed.

The Carolina Panthers are getting ready for their Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns following a win last week against the Atlanta Falcons.

Carolina's defense was able to bounce back following a poor performance in Week 1, giving some hope for a turnaround. But heading into the game against the Browns, the Panthers do have a few key players listed on the injury report.

Wide receivers Xavier Legette (knee) and Jalen Coker (ankle) both didn't practice on Thursday, leading to questions about their status for the game. In addition, linebacker Claudin Cherelus (back), safety Nick Scott (rib), and linebacker Devin Lloyd (calf) also didn't practice.

But the team did see a few other players get back on the field, including Bobby Brown, Pat Jones, and Jaelan Phillips. All of these injuries will be something to monitor over the next few days for the Panthers leading into the game with Cleveland.

It remains to be seen how serious the injures to both Legette and Coker are. But if either one, or in a worst-case scenario, both, can't go, the Panthers would be very short-handed.

Coker has had an excellent start to the season, giving star wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan a complementary piece next to him. For the year, Coker has recorded 16 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns.

In Week 1 against the Chicago Bears, Coker suffered the injury, but he was able to play against the Falcons. While he wasn't as impactful, Coker did help the team take down Atlanta.

As for Legette, he has recorded two catches for 64 yards this season. Legette hasn't lived up to the hype that he entered the NFL with, but the Panthers still believe that he can turn his career around.

Having McMillan, Coker, and Legette offers the Panthers a scary trio of wide receivers for quarterback Bryce Young to throw the ball to. This has seen the Carolina offense take off this season, even with the defensive problems that have come about.

The hope is that each player will be able to get onto the field for the game against the Browns. Carolina is riding a high off the win against the Falcons, and if they can keep the winning ways going, it could go a long way for this team.

Kickoff between the Panthers and Browns is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.

After the game with Cleveland, the Panthers will be hosting the Detroit Lions.
