The Carolina Panthers are considered an ideal landing spot for a two-time Pro Bowler.

One NFL analyst thinks the Carolina Panthers are an ideal landing spot for a two-time Pro Bowler this offseason.

Moe Moton of Bleacher Report considers the Panthers a potential landing spot for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.

The Cardinals could attempt to trade Murray this offseason since their offense has performed better with veteran Jacoby Brissett under center.

Murray is currently out with a foot injury and he may not play again this season.

"If the Cardinals trade Murray, the two-time Pro Bowler should fetch multiple first-rounders because of his accolades at the most valuable position in the sport," Moton wrote. "Teams like the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Cleveland Browns may opt to draft a quarterback. These clubs have multiple 2026 first-rounders or will likely hold top picks in the upcoming draft.

"Murray, whose contract carries another year of guaranteed money, would be an ideal fit for a squad that needs a quarterback, but isn't in a position to draft a top prospect. Ideal Landing Spot: Carolina Panthers."

Murray has appeared in five games this season. He has thrown for 962 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions and rushed for 173 yards and one touchdown.

The Panthers' current starting QB is Bryce Young. Not only is Young a former No. 1 overall pick like Murray, but he's also short in stature (Murray is listed at 5-10, Young is listed at 5-10 as well).

Is Murray that much of an upgrade over Young? That's up in the air. And if that's the case, why would the Panthers give up draft picks to acquire Murray? That wouldn't be smart.

Murray used to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Those days are long gone now. If Young doesn't finish the season strong, the Panthers will likely move on from him.

Here's the thing though: Carolina is playing well (5-4) and may not end up with a high draft pick.

Murray and Young are basically the same player. It wouldn't make any sense on paper for the Panthers to part ways with Young and trade for Murray, who signed a five-year, $230 million contract with the Cardinals in 2022.
