The Panthers Roundtable Podcast Breaks Down Carolina's Last-Second Win over Dallas.
Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Panther Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here were the central topics on this week's pod after the Panthers' 30-27 win on Sunday:
- Rico Dowdle running over his former team. Dowdle, who spent the first five years of his career in a Cowboys uniform, exceeded 200 all-purpose yards for the second consecutive game.
- Bryce Young's breakout performance. Young threw for three touchdowns and completed 68 percent of his passes. His 114.0 QBR rating was the second-highest such rating of his career.
- The run defense continues to close the door. While the Cowboys had success with the passing game — namely, the connection between Dak Prescott and George Pickens — they could not sustain anything on the ground. A week after the Panthers held the Dolphins to 19 rushing yards, Dallas' rushing attack was limited to just 31 yards.
- Locker room video. Graham and Dalton conducted post-game interviews in the Panthers locker room. Among the players they caught up with were cornerback Jaycee Horn, wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and edge rusher Nic Scourton.
- New York state of mind. The winless New York Jets (0-6) are the Panthers' next opponent. This game will be played in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Given Carolina is winless on the road — and former Panthers coach Steve Wilks is the Jets' defensive coordinator — the podcast discusses whether Sunday is a trap game. Don't forget Carolina's next home game is against Buffalo on Oct. 26.
In addition to the Panther Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina. Both have covered Panther football for multiple years.
They will also host a weekly podcasts covering Charlotte Hornets — plus UNC and Duke athletics — that you can find on those respective channels.
