The Panthers Roundtable Podcast Recaps Carolina's Thrilling Win Over Miami.
Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Panther Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here were the central topics on this week’s pod:
- The Panthers' 27-21, come-from-behind victory over the Dolphins. The 17-point deficit that Carolina erased matches the largest comeback in franchise history.
- The defense stealing the show. While the offense always seems to get the initial shine, it was the Panthers' defense that allowed for the rally to happen. Carolina forced Miami punts on six of its final seven possessions — allowing just three first downs over that span — and held the Dolphins to just 19 yards rushing.
- The emerging rookies. Specifically on the game-winning drive, the Panthers had several rookies take a positive step forward. Jimmy Horn Jr.'s first NFL catch was on a key fourth down. Trevor Etienne had to come into the game to spell Rico Dowdle, who had 202 yards on Sunday, and rushed for a first down inside the red-zone. Plus, it was rookie tight end Mitchell Evans that had the game-winning score.
- Cowboys on the horizon. Dallas' offense has been steaming lately as it heads into Charlotte this weekend — having scored at least 37 points in three of its last four games. This game will kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday and Panthers Roundtable will be there for more live coverage.
- The Panthers' identity. Five games isn't a small sample size. In fact, it's more than a fourth of the season. What have we learned about this team? Also, what has Bryce Young shown thus far?
In addition to the Panther Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina. Both have covered Panther football for multiple years.
They will also host a weekly podcasts covering Charlotte Hornets — plus UNC and Duke athletics — that you can find on those respective channels.
