The Panthers Roundtable Podcast Reacts to the Unlikely Way Carolina Won the NFC South, Previews a Rematch with the Rams, and Prepares for the Return of an Icon.

NFC South Champs

It was the NFC South way to win the NFC South ever. After beating the Bucs the first time in Charlotte, the Panthers dropped games to the Seahawks and then the Bucs in Tampa Bay. That left the NFC South in the hands of whoever won between the Falcons and Saints. The Falcons handled business on the Panthers behalf and Carolina became just the fifth team in NFL history to win the division with a losing record.

Super Cam Returns

An already exciting week was given extra juice when the news came out that Panthers legend, Cam Newton, would be in Charlotte for the game and would be the legend of the game to hit the "Keep Pounding" drum ahead of the game. With the Panthers hosting their first playoff game in ten years, since the infamous Panthers-Cardinals NFC title game in 2015, this just felt right.

Return of Robert Hunt?

The Panthers have been without Robert Hunt since week 2 in a loss at Arizona where he tore his bicep. He practiced like he might make a return for the game in Tampa Bay last week, but head coach, Dave Canales, didn't want to chance it unless he could go 100 percent. With another week of practice and being listed as "Questionable" on the injury report, all signs point to Robert Hunt making his return at just the right time against the Rams.

Panthers Blueprint

Will breaks down what he believes to be the keys for the Carolina Panthers if they hope to pull off an upset against the Rams and discusses a detail from when the Panthers beat the Rams earlier in the year that people aren't talking so much about.

Prediction Time

Will makes his prediction for Panthers-Rams and tells what he believes could end up being an x-factor for Carolina.
