The Panthers Roundtable Podcast Examines Three-Game Winning Streak — and Looks Ahead to Buffalo.
Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Panther Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here were the primary topics on this week's pod after the Panthers' 13-6 win at the Jets:
- Defensive domination. Entering Sunday, the Panthers had just five sacks through six games. But against the Jets alone, the defense compiled six quarterback takedowns. Also, it might have been the best performances of the season by Derrick Brown and Jaycee Horn.
- Xavier Legette leads the offense. A few weeks removed from being the brunt of criticism, Legette was Carolina's best offensive player at New York. He scored the game's only touchdown, plus led the team in receptions and receiving yards.
- Bryce Young's ankle injury. Since it looks unlikely that Young will play against the Buffalo Bills, the podcast discusses just how much he will be missed this weekend. Young went down in the third quarter on Sunday and was replaced by Andy Dalton.
- It's a three-game win streak. Now that Carolina took all three games of a favorable portion in the schedule, Graham and Dalton look ahead at a more difficult six-game stretch — that starts Sunday vs. Buffalo — and how the Panthers might fare
- Bills preview. In one of the most highly awaited home games in years, the Panthers face the 4-2 Bills, who are coming off back to back losses and a bye week. Panthers Roundtable will be at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
In addition to the Panther Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina. Both have covered Panther football for multiple years.
They will also host a weekly podcasts covering Charlotte Hornets — plus UNC and Duke athletics — that you can find on those respective channels.
