Here are three teams that could be perfect “trade-down” suitors for the Carolina Panthers in the 2026 NFL Draft.

As we quickly approach the 2026 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers and general manager Dan Morgan are in a perfect spot to add multiple young playmakers to the roster for the upcoming season.

This year’s draft class, compared to other years, does not have the top-end talent in the first round. With all the uncertainty as to what the board could look like when the Panthers are on the clock at pick No. 19, there is a legitimate chance that Morgan and the front office could look to trade down and accumulate more picks.

Here are three teams that could be perfect “trade-down” suitors for the Panthers in the upcoming draft.

Philadelphia Eagles

Out of all the teams that could potentially trade up to pick No. 19, the Philadelphia Eagles and general manager Howie Roseman make the most sense.

With all the speculations surrounding Eagles’ star wide receiver AJ Brown and his status heading into next season, it’s clear that the organization could be on the hunt for his replacement in this year’s draft. Looking at how which receivers could be on the board at pick No. 19, there is a good chance that Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson could fall due to his medical concerns.

If that is the case, it would make perfect sense for Roseman to move up from No. 24 and take a swing on Tyson.

Chicago Bears

Another team that possesses the draft capital to move up in round one in the upcoming draft is the Chicago Bears, who will likely be targeting an anchor on the defensive line.

Depending on which defensive tackles end up falling in round one, the Bears could be motivated to move up in the draft in order to land the top player at the position group. Florida’s Caleb Banks has seen his stock take a dramatic fall throughout the course of the draft process, but his physical traits could be enticing for a defense that lacks support within the trenches.

Arizona Cardinals

While it may come as a surprise, there is a real possibility that the Arizona Cardinals would be willing to move up from the first pick in the second round to select a polarizing prospect.

After officially cutting ties with longtime quarterback Kyler Murray, the Cardinals have punched their ticket to a rebuild this offseason. However, without a true answer for the future in the organization’s quarterback room heading into next season, Arizona is one of the top teams that could be in play for Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson.

If the Cardinals are truly set on Simpson being their franchise quarterback for the future, making a move to leapfrog the Pittsburgh Steelers at pick No. 21 would ultimately secure the former Crimson Tide standout.
