New audio shows New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown trying to hype up his offensive line before he went down with an injury in Week 1.

The New England Patriots fell to the Seattle Seahawks in the opening game of the new NFL season, blowing a 10-point lead.

New England jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the third quarter, but they weren't able to hold on for the win. Seattle's defense was able to intercept three passes from Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, helping them get back into the game.

But the Patriots' game plan changed when star wide receiver A.J. Brown went down with an injury in the third quarter. Brown provided New England a legitimate option for Maye to throw the ball to, and after he went out, everything changed.

New England couldn't muster up anything offensively after Brown left the game. And to make matters worse, Brown will now be out for at least four weeks with an ankle injury.

The Patriots put Brown on the injured reserve following the injury in the game.

But before he left the game, Brown tried to hype up his teammates. The Seahawks defense showed some weakness against New England with Brown in the game.

Audio captured Brown talking to the offensive line before he went down with an injury. Brown wanted to let his guys up front know that if they do their jobs, the playmakers have their backs.

“If y’all boys just could hold up, we gon’ score this s**t. They cannot f**k with none of us at wide receiver, I’m telling you. We running wide open, you hear me?," Brown said.

The offensive line played well in this game against Seattle, showing improvement from a year ago. But eventually, the Seahawks strong pass rush broke through, causing problems for the Patriots.

Brown finished the game with four catches for 26 yards, showing limited impact on the offense. But having him on the field forced the Seahawks' defense to pay attention to where he was at all times, opening lanes for others.

So, once he left, the Patriots didn't have that option, allowing Seattle to focus on the New England wide receivers, limiting what the team could do. It was very similar to how the Seahawks beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl back in February, when Maye didn't have a reliable weapon to throw too.

Brown was brought in to help negate this for New England, but now the Patriots will be forced to be without him for weeks. New England will need others to step up in his absence, and if they can't, the Patriots could be in some trouble.

The Patriots will have another shot to grab their first win of the new season when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers next week.
