Bills quarterback Josh Allen shared his thoughts on Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.

The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills will face off in a pivotal matchup in Week 15. New England can clinch the AFC East title and a playoff birth with a win over the Bills.

The game will likely come down to the play of the quarterbacks. Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the reigning MVP, but Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is the talking point, as he's emerged as an MVP candidate in his second season in the league.

“He’s playing like a veteran quarterback, he’s seeing things extremely well, he plays at a great pace, looks like things have slowed down for him. I’m happy for how well he’s playing because he’s a great human being on top of being a football player," Allen said about Maye.

Both quarterbacks seem to have a ton of respect for each other ahead of their matchup. Maye has played like a veteran to Allen's point, as he's completed 71.5 percent of his passes for 3,412 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

The 23-year-old has also rushed for 319 yards and two touchdowns.

Bills quarterback Allen has also played at a high level this season despite the struggles in the wide receiver room. The 29-year-old has completed 70.1 percent of his passes for 3,083 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for 487 yards and 12 touchdowns.

New England will need their defense to limit Allen as much as possible to help Maye and the offense.

The Patriots have had a complete transformation from one of the worst teams in the league in 2024 to being tied for the best record in the league.

Bringing in Mike Vrabel as their head coach has changed the culture and helped them improve a ton. New England also built a great offense around Maye by signing wide receiver Stefon Diggs in free agency and drafting Will Campbell with the fourth overall pick.

This is the Patriots' biggest game of the season yet, and they will need their young players, like Maye, to continue to play at a high level. The game will likely come down to which quarterback plays better in a battle of two of the game's best.
