The New England Patriots have ruled out multiple players for their upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The New England Patriots are gearing up for a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend, looking to build on their win a week ago.

New England was able to take down the Buffalo Bills last week, earning a massive victory in the process. The offense for the Patriots came to life against Buffalo, giving this team a major boost that it used to get the win.

The Patriots entered the season with high expectations following a trip to the Super Bowl last year, but they have gotten off to a slow start this time around. However, New England seemed to find something that worked against Buffalo, and they will now try to implement it against Las Vegas.

But the Patriots are dealing with some injuries as the game against the Bills gets going. New England has been hoping for the best with a few players, but the team just released an updated injury report ahead of the game.

Heading into the game against the Raiders, the Patriots have ruled out a few key players for the contest. Among them are star cornerback Christian Gonzalez, fullback Reggie Gilliam, wide receiver Mark Hollins, and cornerback Carlton Davis,

Losing Gonzalez is a massive loss for the Patriots, but he didn't play a week ago against the Bills. The star cornerback has recorded eight total tackles and five pass deflections this season, giving New England a shutdown option in the secondary.

With him gone, others will need to step up to contain the strong passing game of the Raiders. But losing Davis as well for this game doesn't help anything.

Las Vegas has done well with throwing the ball this season, with quarterback Kirk Cousins playing at a high level. New England will have to figure out a way to pressure him early, helping out the thin secondary in the process.

As for Hollins, he has been a key piece to the Patriots offense, catching 15 passes for 209 yards. Hollins has been a strong option for quarterback Drake Maye this year, and his absence could be tough for this team to overcome.

New England is already without A.J. Brown due to injury, so the loss of Hollins could loom large in this game. The Patriots will try to get the offensive attack going again against Las Vegas, hoping to continue where they left off from last week.

Kickoff for the Patriots and Raiders is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.
