The Patriots could punch their ticket into the postseason in Week 16.

The New England Patriots have a chance to earn their first playoff berth since the 2021 season. In Week 16, they take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and with a win or tie, the Patriots would clinch their playoff spot.

New England would also clinch if the Indianapolis Colts lose or tie against the San Francisco 49ers or if the Houston Texans lose or tie against the Las Vegas Raiders.

At 11-3, the Patriots are still in control of the AFC East, though it got closer with the Buffalo Bills beating them in Week 15.

The Patriots have completely transformed from the 2024 season, where they went 4-13. Quarterback Drake Maye's development has been key to New England's improvement.

The 23-year-old quarterback has completed 70.9 percent of his passes for 3,567 yards, 23 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He has also rushed for 362 yards and four touchdowns.

Bringing in head coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has been another key factor in New England's breakout season.

The Patriots' free agency signing of Stefon Diggs has also been a difference maker. Diggs has established himself as the top target for Maye, as he's hauled in 67 receptions for 731 yards and three touchdowns.

New England will rely on their offense to continue playing at a high level against the Ravens. The Ravens' defense is coming off their best performance of the season, as they shut out the Cincinnati Bengals.

Baltimore came away with two interceptions and three sacks, making life tough on Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

The Ravens are fighting for their playoff lives, as their path to making it to the playoffs is winning the AFC North. However, they are currently behind the 8-6 Pittsburgh Steelers. That makes every game pivotal for the Ravens down the stretch, and will challenge New England with everything they have.

New England is having their best season since Tom Brady was under center. If the Patriots continue to play the way they have all season long, they should beat the Ravens on Sunday night and punch their ticket into the postseason.
