The Patriots are expected to officially sign A.J. Brown in a few weeks, barring any unforeseen situations with other teams also showing massive interest.

June 1st is one of the last key dates in the NFL's offseason. It's a critical date for cap management, allowing teams to release or trade players without taking a massive financial hit against the cap.

You will see many veteran players move to other teams on or after this date.

Case in point: A.J. Brown being traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the New England Patriots, or any other team.

As reported for many months, the New England Patriots are reportedly going to trade for A.J. Brown after the deadline. The move saves the Eagles a little over $20 million against the cap, freeing up a ton of money for them and giving the Patriots a WR1 who has a great relationship with head coach Mike Vrabel going in.

Patriots fans, analysts, and just about everyone covering the NFL all await the news of Brown officially heading to Foxborough. Still, if anyone happens to be on edge because these trade talks seem to have vanished, this bit of real estate news about the trade can reassure them that Brown will be wearing a Patriots jersey this September.

Jim Murray of 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston reported Tuesday night that A.J. Brown will be speaking with the management team at a condo in the Seaport neighborhood in Boston.

"Per Source: AJ Brown will be speaking with management at one of the big, fancy condo developments in the Seaport this week regarding residency," wrote Murray on X. "I was asked to omit which specific one."

Anyone who knows Boston really well knows that Seaport is a very upscale area.

Seaport is 35 minutes from Gillette Stadium (barring any Boston traffic), but this is another piece of news that only adds fuel to the idea that Brown will be on the practice field for the Patriots in a short amount of time.

The Patriots brought in a few wide receivers as undrafted free agents over the last few weeks but never actually picked a wide receiver in the NFL Draft back in late April.

The writing on the wall is there for Brown to be a Patriot; just a few more weeks are left before we know for certain.
