New England Patriots legend Tom Brady has received a distinct all-time QB ranking from Bleacher Report.
Bleacher Report has ranked Brady as the best QB in NFL history.
With the Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady went to 10 Super Bowls and won seven championships, three MVPs and five Super Bowl MVPs. He finished his career with 89,214 passing yards and 649 passing touchdowns.
Brady is first in NFL history in passing yards, passing touchdowns and completions. He has more Super Bowl rings than any single NFL franchise.
A 15-time Pro Bowler, Brady is ranked ahead of Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers by Bleacher Report.
"While he was never the biggest, fastest or most physically gifted quarterback in any given season, it's hard to argue that Tom Brady wasn't the best to ever do it," Bleacher Report wrote. "A sixth-round pick out of Michigan in the 2000 draft by the New England Patriots, Brady entered the NFL with good size (6'4") and few other characteristics that stood out. However, he worked his way into a starting role with an elite work ethic and eventually became a star.
"By his playing prime, Brady could see the field as well as anyone, anticipate defenses better than most and put the ball anywhere on the field. His blend of touch, accuracy, anticipation and pocket presence made him the ultimate clutch quarterback. Remarkably durable, he never missed time due to injury outside of the torn ACL he suffered in 2008."
There will never be another Tom Brady. The NFL icon redefined what it means to be a winner. He went 251-82-0 in the regular season, 35-13 in the playoffs and 7-3 in the Super Bowl.
In Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons, the Patriots erased a 28-3 deficit and won 34-28 in overtime. Brady had 466 passing yards and two passing touchdowns in that incredible comeback win.
Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick didn't make the Hall of Fame this year, causing many to question whether Brady will make it in his first year of eligibility. Voters are still mad about Spygate and Deflategate, but Brady will probably be a first-ballot Hall of Famer since he is universally recognized as the GOAT.
