The New England Patriots are the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.

The New England Patriots will host the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card round of the 2026 NFL playoffs.

The Patriots are the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.

The Patriots went 14-3 this season, while the Chargers went 11-6.

New England is a Super Bowl contender for the first time in the post-Tom Brady era. QB Drake Maye could win the MVP Award this season, while head coach Mike Vrabel could win the Coach of the Year Award.

The Patriots have a top-five offense and defense. It was a banner regular season for Vrabel and Maye.

“We’ve come a long way,” Maye said. “We’ve built this identity and played to it, and good things happen.”
