The New England Patriots have a new cornerback.

The New England Patriots have added a cornerback.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Patriots are signing Kindle Vildor.

Vildor played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season. He appeared in 12 games and finished with one interception and 11 solo tackles.

The 28-year-old Vildor has been in the NFL since 2020. He has played for the Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions and Buccaneers. The veteran has two interceptions, one sack, 98 solo tackles, five tackles for loss and two QB hits in his career.

In Year 1 of the Mike Vrabel era, the Patriots made the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, New England lost to the Seattle Seahawks, 29-13.

The Patriots have been very busy this offseason in free agency. Along with Vildor, New England has added Niko Lalos, KJ Britt, Mike Brown, Kevin Byard, Romeo Doubs, Reggie Gilliam, Julian Hill, Dre'Mont Jones, Jesse Luketa and Alijah Vera-Tucker.

Vrabel and Co. have the 31st overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. It will be fascinating to see who the Patriots draft.
