Another tough one this week as the Patriots head to Florida for a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Who's looking good, who needs to step up?

It is that time of the week again. Week 2's 20-3 win said a lot about the New England Patriots. Defensively, they tore apart Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers offense, holding them to 235 total yards (75 of it came in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach).

Offensively, the Patriots still have more questions than answers. The run game was up and down; the passing showed pockets of success, but Drake Maye still showed a lack of confidence in his decision-making.

So, with all that being said, here's who's going into Week 3 in Duval County, Florida, for a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, with their stock soaring, and who needs to bounce back.

Stock Up

Romeo Doubs

If anyone was at the bottom of the barrel between Week 1 and Week 2 for the Patriots, it was Romeo Doubs. The free-agent signee this offseason was 0/3 in receptions against the Seahawks with an embarrassing dropped pass late.

Against the Steelers, Doubs was 3/4 in catches. He nearly fumbled the ball at one point, but luckily it rolled out of bounds. Just when you thought a play like that would decide how Doubs would play in this game, he later caught a beautiful throw in Cover 6 from Drake Maye for 63 yards.

Without A.J. Brown on the field for the next month or more, we still need to see more from Doubs going forward, but this was a better performance than what we saw in Seattle.

Gabe Jacas

Has Gabe Jacas arrived in New England? Week 2's win may prove that. The rookie edge rusher out of Illinois had an uneven preseason, but in the regular season, he's flipped the switch and shown he's the future at edge rush in New England.

Jacas has three total tackles (2 assisted, 1 solo), 1 QB hit, and 1 pass defended. What gets Jacas on this list was his interception of Aaron Rodgers in the fourth quarter that put the game away.

Jacas played 70% of the defensive snaps, mainly because Dre'Mont Jones got injured. Depending on Jones' injury, we may be seeing more of the rookie.

Elijah Ponder

The rotational edge rushers had their day on Sunday. Elijah Ponder has become a fan favorite on the depth chart since his postseason performance last year. He made a case for himself late in the Steelers matchup.

Defensive tackle Christian Barmore stripped the ball from Rodgers on a sack, and Ponder scooped it up and ran it in for a touchdown to make it 20-3.

Ponder also sacked Rodgers for a 13-yard loss in the red zone, which forced the Steelers into a long-yardage situation. He recorded 5 total tackles, including a personal-best 4 defensive stops and 3 tackles for loss.

Stock Down

Drake Maye

You'd hate to see your franchise quarterback on this list two weeks in a row, but here we are. Drake Maye needs his confidence back, and he needs to find it in someone on that field on Sundays too.

Maye went 14 of 22 for 208 yards, threw one interception, and was sacked three times. Head coach Mike Vrabel even spoke openly about his quarterback's mistakes to the media: "We have to get rid of the ball,” Vrabel said. Regarding Maye’s interception, Vrabel said, "Those things are going to cost us."

Maye is without a WR1 currently, and seems to overthink coverages when scanning the field. Still, he pulled off some big plays despite pass-protection issues, proving there is a franchise QB buried somewhere

Andy Borregales

Kicker Andy Borregales missed a 47-yard field goal in the third quarter. After the kick was no good, Borregales patted his chest, signaling that it was his fault the kick sailed outside the goalpost.

The missed field goal wasn't game-deciding, but it came at a time when the Steelers were still hanging around on the scoreboard. He followed it up on the next drive with a 45-yarder that nearly sailed far left but hooked into the inside and was good.

Borregales missed some kicks in preseason, which put him on thin ice for a week. On average, he's almost perfect inside 50 yards. You'd hate to see that regress.

Jared Wilson

Center Jared Wilson may have been all smiles after the win, but he struggled during the game. Wilson had an uphill battle against pressure from the Steelers' interior defensive line. He gave up three hurries on quarterback Drake Maye. Some of the pressures came so quickly that they were just 2.5 seconds off the ball.

Head coach Mike Vrabel spoke about Wilson's play on Monday afternoon. "I don't think that was one of Jared's better games... I think he can protect better. I know he can protect better."

Despite his pass-protection struggles, Wilson did well in run blocks, opening up space in the linebacker area for backs to move the ball upfield numerous times.
