The Patriots selected Campbell with the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and had a solid rookie year in the regular season, but struggled in the postseason against elite pass rushers.
In Fox Sports' recent article, Campbell is named as a potential breakout player for the Patriots. The 22-year-old left tackle allowed a sack and 14 pressures in the Super Bowl, but he has a ton of talent and could improve as the blindside protector for Drake Maye.
Maye is coming off a phenomenal 2025 season, as he completed 72 percent of his passes for 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. The 23-year-old quarterback also rushed for 450 yards and four touchdowns.
He is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and finished as the runner-up for the MVP award in 2025 behind Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Brown appeared in 15 games in the 2025 season, hauling in 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. He will be a key piece for the Patriots' offense as they look to make another deep playoff run.
They also added more talent to the roster, including free-agent addition Romeo Doubs. Doubs is coming off a solid year for the Green Bay Packers, as he finished with 55 receptions for 724 yards and six touchdowns. The added weapons could be impactful, but only if Campbell and the offensive line play at a high level.
New England made a surprise run to the Super Bowl in 2025, but with a tougher schedule looming, the Patriots will face a more difficult path to make a run.
If Campbell can develop into a star left tackle, it will help New England in their quest for their first Super Bowl title since Tom Brady led them to six.
