The Las Vegas Raiders are overhauling their roster, and they made multiple additions to their practice squad.

The Las Vegas Raiders have been doing things more systematically lately, and that continued yesterday as the Raider signed three new players to their practice squad, according to a report from Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

The Raiders worked out a total of 16 players, per Williams, and the new practice squad additions are receiver Ronnie Bell, offensive lineman Evan Neal and defensive end Azeez Ojulari.

Three players were released in a series of accompanying moves: defensive end Jahfari Harvey, offensive tackle Kamar Missouri and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam.

File all three of these moves under basic roster upgrades. The Raiders are doing an overhaul, so it’s no surprise that coach Klint Kubiak would make this many moves and work out so many players after a 3-14 season.

As for the specifics, Neal was released by the New York Giants, and he hasn’t played since 2024. He made the Giants squad as a seventh-round draft pick back in 2022,  as a right tackle, but New York moved him to right guard. He did start 27 games out of the 29 he played in with the Giants, though, so there is something of a history there.

Ojulari is also an ex-Giant, as he was selected by New York in the second round back in 2021. He played four seasons in New York and spent last year wtih the Philadelphia Eagles, but he played in just three games with the Eagles.

The defenisve end signed with the Atlanta Falcons in March, but the Falcons terminated his contract on Sunday, per Williams. Ojulari has played in 49 games over five seasons, posting a total of 113 tackles, 22 sacks and 38 quarterback hits, so he does offer something of a veteran presence.

Bell was selected in the seventh round of the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round by the San Francisco 49ers, and he’s appeared in 28 games in his career for the Niners and the New Orleans Saints. His career totals include ten receptions for 113 yards and four touchdowns.

Bell also represents an upgrade in the receivers room, as that group struggled mightily for the Raiders in the preseason. It was one of the few position groups that Kubiak actually called out, saying the receivers needed to get better in a hurry after drops and lack of separation plagued the wideouts, which means Bell could have a genuine chance to play.
