Nailor inks a significant $35 million deal, injecting explosive speed and a reliable third option into the Raiders' revamped offense.

The Las Vegas Raiders are as aggressive as they come through the first day of free agency, adding wide receiver Jalen Nailor to their list of signings from Monday. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Nailor is heading to Las Vegas on a three-year, $35 million deal, including $23 guaranteed.

It’s the first move of the offseason for the Raiders that has given their offense some much needed weapons. Under new offensive-oriented head coach Klint Kubiak and likely a rookie quarterback in Fernando Mendoza, Nailor’s presence in the receiver room is a huge boost for the outlook of the Raiders’ offense.

Nailor played 17 games for the Minnesota Vikings in 2025, catching 29 passes for 444 yards and four touchdowns. He led the team in yards per reception and was tied for first in receiving touchdowns.

At 27-years-old, Nailor now heads back to Las Vegas, where he played his high school football at Bishop Gorman High School. He forms a solid duo with fellow Raiders receiver Tre Tucker as part of an up-and-coming offense that includes young talent such as tight end Brock Bowers, running back Ashton Jeanty, and presumably the aforementioned Mendoza after the draft.

His numbers may not seem worthy of a $35 million deal at first glance, but Nailor was a real piece of the Vikings offense over the last couple of seasons. Playing behind superstar Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, Nailor was a reliable third option for Minnesota.

A sixth-round selection in 2022 with the nickname “Speedy”, Nailor has deadly speed that’ll surely come to use in the desert of Nevada in 2026 and beyond. With a bigger role waiting for him with the Raiders, it would come as no surprise if his numbers take a huge leap in 2026 with little competition in the receiving room.

Ideally, there’s another move in the future for the Raiders regarding their receiving core, but going out an dsnagging Nailor could be one of the more underrated moves of the entire offseason. At the very least, it’s a deal that shows the Raiders are putting the necessary pieces in place to have a competent 2026 season as they take that first step towards a new and hopefully much more successful era.
