Raiders Called "Unserious" After Making Losers List Following Week 15 cover image

The Raiders' dismal 2-12 record and 31-0 shutout loss solidify their spot on the "losers list," sparking questions about their franchise's seriousness.

Things are so, so bad for the Las Vegas Raiders. They are 2-12, Chip Kelly was fired, Geno Smith is injured, and now it remains to be seen if Pete Carroll will last after not even one full season as the head coach.

In Week 15, the Raiders fell flat in a 31-0 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The No. 1 pick could very well be coming to Las Vegas in what would be a small consolation prize for another frustrating season.

Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports had winners and losers for Week 15. And, to no surprise, the Raiders were dubbed losers, because why not?

Here's what he wrote.

"The speculation over Pete Carroll might be shifting from whether he'll be one-and-done to whether he'll even make it to the end of the season. The Raiders are the NFL's most unserious franchise. The Philadelphia Eagles, who have looked like a shell of themselves, looked great again Sunday. That's what happens when you face the Raiders, who did almost nothing on offense. Kenny Pickett started in place of the injured Geno Smith at quarterback, and Vegas' defense wasn't much better. Philadelphia won 31-0 and it seemed like an even bigger blowout than that. Las Vegas has lost 12 of 13 games since Week 1, and the only win came at home against the Titans. The Raiders are an embarrassment."

When Carroll was hired, it was a questionable move. When they acquired Geno Smith and gave him a contract extension, it was also a bit puzzling.

Yet, here we are, going into Week 15, and nothing is going right for Las Vegas.

The Raiders somehow, believe it or not, beat the New England Patriots, 20-13, in Week 1. The only other victory came against the Tennessee Titans, who are 2-12 and fired their head coach already during the season.

As Schwab called the Raiders "unserious," there is something that needs to change around this franchise.

Maybe Carroll needs to go. Maybe they need to draft a new QB with a top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Or, maybe they need to wipe everything clean and turn over a brand new leaf going into 2026.

The Raiders face the Houston Texans, New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs to end the season, so there is a chance that they can sneak away with at least one victory before the end of the year comes.
