Las Vegas linebacker Nakobe Dean recorded 12 tackles against the Jets, giving him five games with at least 12 tackles this season, including four straight.

The Las Vegas Raiders have found a remarkably consistent presence in the middle of their defense.

Linebacker Nakobe Dean continued his impressive start to the season Sunday, recording 12 tackles in Las Vegas' 38-33 comeback victory over the New York Jets.

It marked Dean's fourth consecutive game with at least 12 tackles and his fifth such performance in eight games this season.

According to the Raiders' official game log, Dean has reached that mark against the New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams and Jets.

His recent production has been particularly consistent.

Dean recorded exactly 12 tackles in each of his past four games, a stretch that included three consecutive losses before Sunday's victory in New York.

The 25-year-old linebacker also has contributed in other areas, recording 1.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception through eight games.

Dean's biggest statistical tackling performance came against New Orleans on September 27, when he registered 11 solo tackles among his 12 total stops. He also forced a fumble in that victory.

His interception came against the Rams on October 25, providing another example of his ability to make plays beyond routine tackles.

Sunday's victory gave Las Vegas a much-needed boost after four consecutive losses.

The Raiders trailed the Jets 30-21 in the third quarter before rallying behind quarterback Kirk Cousins and an offense that found its rhythm after halftime.

Dean finished with 12 tackles, while Las Vegas limited New York to a field goal in the fourth quarter.

The defensive performance was especially important because the Jets finished with 439 total yards, forcing the Raiders to make crucial stops rather than simply control the game from start to finish.

Las Vegas improved to 4-4 with the victory, keeping itself within reach of the AFC West race.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos remain formidable division opponents, making consistent defensive production particularly valuable as the season progresses.

For Dean, the challenge will be maintaining his production while helping the Raiders turn Sunday's comeback into sustained improvement.

His tackling numbers have already made him one of the defense's most reliable contributors.

Now Las Vegas needs that consistency to translate into more victories.
