With the NFL trade deadline approaching, there are a few players who could pop up on the trade block.

In turn, there are several teams that could be active. Will the Las Vegas Raiders be in the market to add talent?

After a 1-3 start, it remains to be seen how aggressive the front office will be.

Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report named some trade block candidates, and one scenario had Seattle Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen with the Raiders as a possible suitor.

"Seattle Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen is only 26 years old, has 50 starts on his resume and has logged 11 interceptions and 42 passes defended as a Pro. Would a Seahawks team with playoff aspirations really be interested in trading him?" Knox wrote.

The price Knox suggested is a 2026 conditional fourth-round pick, which is a steep price considering his contract expires after 2025.

Woolen has struggled to adjust to the new defense rolled out by Seahawks defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, and the team moving him for a future pick could make sense for Seattle.

"While Woolen was stellar early in his career—he allowed an opposing passer rating of just 48.7 as a rookie in 2022—he hasn't seemed to be as good of a fit in Mike Macdonald's defense. Virtually every cornerback-needy team should have interest in Woolen if he is available. The Seahawks should expect a fairly strong return, even with him in a contract year," Knox added.

He also added the Miami Dolphins as a suitor, and the Raiders bringing in Woolen would likely signal their interest in signing him to a long-term deal instead of just bringing him to town as a rental.

Woolen was a fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft after playing at UTSA, and he made the pro Bowl in 2022 in his rookie season.

He has played a total of 52 games through four seasons with 11 interceptions, so the 26-year-old is a player to watch on the market, and it will be interesting to see if the Raiders make a move.
