Former Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald was reportedly training at the practice facility amid comeback speculation.

Executive producer at TMZ Sports, Michael J. Babcock, shared a video via X that appears to show Donald working out at the Rams' practice facility. Baboock also indicated that Donald was going through drills with the team.

There have been rumors that the 35-year-old could eventually return to the football field and join the Rams.

If that happens, the Rams would boast one of the most feared and imposing defensive lines the NFL has ever seen.

Donald would have the chance to join Myles Garrett, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Garrett is coming off an historic 2025 campaign in which he broke the single-season sack record with 23, accomplishing that feat while playing with the lowly Cleveland Browns.

The pairing would also give Garrett the opportunity to continue building what has already been an outstanding career while sharing the field with one of the greatest defensive players of all time.

The buzz surrounding the potential return of Donald started after the Rams traded for Garrett in June. It was a franchise-altering move that Los Angeles hopes pays off in a big way.

Donald remains in outstanding shape, posting insane workout videos every now and then on social media.

All the signs point toward Donald making a comeback, and if he ultimately puts the pads back on, opposing defenses and offensive coordinators will have a major problem on their hands.

Donald decided to call it quits after the 2023 season.

His original plan was to retire after eight seasons in the league. That season, the 2021 season, he happened to lead the Rams to a Super Bowl title. He spoke on how running off into the sunset at that time didn’t feel right at the time.

So, Donald decided to ride it out for two more years.

When he announced his retirement in March of 2024, Donald mentioned how he felt 'full.'

"I'm just, I'm burnt out, if anything, the best way to say it is that I'm full, I'm complete,” Donald said.

Donald also noted that going through another grueling training camp and 17-game regular season would be taxing on his body.

That could remain the case, but Donald's recent actions and appearance at the practice facility point to return rumors and reports being a bit more believable.

Donald may be hungry again, and if so, the Rams would surely welcome him with open arms.

The Rams are already favorites to win the whole thing. Potentially adding the possibly the greatest defensive player of all time would shake the football world to its core.
