Former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks spoke highly of the team's aggressive approach in 2026.

Former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks painted a stark reality for the team, as he revealed he loves how Sean McVay and Les Snead are building the roster, but with the intention of knowing the championship window for the Rams is closing.

In his recent appearance on Good Morning Football, Cooks spoke about how the Rams are going all-in on repeating the "f*** them picks" mantra. But the intense nature of the all-in approach has to do with the closing window for MVP Matthew Stafford.

"What I love about the Rams is they’re going back to what the Rams do, and that’s 'forget them picks,'" he said. "I think Coach McVay understands that this window is closing for Matthew Stafford on his back nine. They’re pressed to win another one pretty soon, because how much longer is Stafford going to play? We don’t know."

Cooks added that he loves the wide receiver tandem of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

“Having Davante Adams is so clutch,” Cooks continued. “Obviously, we know about Puka, being able to make those big plays out in the open field but once you get to the red zone, at the end of the day, it’s like, ‘All right, Davante, go win.’”

Cooks, 33, was among the first big acquisitions under the Sean McVay era.  His addition to the team prior to the 2018 season was a major difference maker for the Rams' offense.

He did his part to lead the Rams to the best and most explosive offense. They ranked second in the NFL in both points per game (32.9) and total yards per game (421.1).

The Rams offense showcased a mix of a high-powered running game and an efficient passing attack, with Cooks doing his part to keep the unit productive.

Los Angeles' offense this past season was similar to the one we witnessed in 2018. They were at the top of many offensive rankings, and they are projected to be even better in 2026.

Led by Matthew Stafford, the Rams offense is projected to remain a well-oiled machine. Stafford will continue to lead the charge, with McVay right alongside him.

McVay is determined to return to the top this season, and Cooks believes 2026 could be the year the Rams reach that goal.

“Got a lot of love for Coach McVay. At the end of the day, I think it’s his for the taking,” he said. “He felt how they lost last year in that NFC championship, and so not to be content and just sit there and be like, ‘Oh, we got there. We can get there again.’ They went and added some pieces. I think they’re back there and this time going to the Super Bowl.”
