Los Angeles Rams star running back Blake Corum has exited the Atlanta Falcons game with a concerning leg injury.

The Los Angeles Rams are in a battle with the Atlanta Falcons. So far, things have not gone well for the Rams, and now they have been hit with a concerning injury.

Running back Blake Corum suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury, resulting in him being pulled from the game well into the second quarter.

Following a run, Corum had his leg and ankle trapped under a Falcons defender. After the play, he was seen limping to the sideline in considerable pain.

Corum was already wincing when heading to the sideline, and the replay showed that he was clearly in some pain following the incident. He was seen walking to the locker room with trainers, coupled with a limp.

Per the broadcast, Corum has been hit with a questionable to return status.

Los Angeles has been struggling on both sides of the ball throughout the game. At the time of this writing, the Falcons lead the way with a 21-0 score.

Following a quick strike from the Falcons in their second offensive drive, they secured the first touchdown of the game. Los Angeles would attempt a drive of their own, but would be shut down on fourth down.

A quick defensive stop would give the Rams the ball back, but Matthew Stafford threw a pick-six, leading to a 14-0 lead for the Falcons in the second quarter.

Corum and the offense would then try to get things going on the ground, which led to the injury for the running back.

With less than two minutes in the second quarter, Stafford would throw another interception. In a deep ball to Xavier Smith, the Falcons secured the turnover.

Moments later, Bijan Robinson broke free, picking up a massive 93-yard touchdown run. The Rams are now trailing 21-0 and have lost one of their solid running backs in the process.

Sean McVay will have to make some sizeable adjustments during halftime, as this game is clearly getting away from the Rams.

There is plenty of football left to play, but Los Angeles is in a deep hole they need to climb out of.
