Los Angeles Rams linebacker Byron Young has been voted onto the NFL Top 100 Players List.

The Los Angeles Rams continue to have players being added to the NFL Top 100 Players List. It began with running back Kyren Williams clocking in at No. 89 on the list, and now linebacker Byron Young is joining him.

Young has been added to the list and comes in at No. 84. The NFL Top 100 Players list is compiled by league-wide votes cast by current players. This is the first time in his career that he has made the list.

It makes perfect sense that Young would be added to the list, as he experienced a huge season in 2025. Following this 12-sack season, he also made the Pro Bowl.

In total, Young brought in 82 total tackles, one forced fumble, 12 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 29 quarterback hits. He became a force for the Rams' defense and is likely set to experience another big year.

Young paired well with Jared Verse and the rest of the defensive line, but that structure has now changed in a significant way. Verse was traded to the Cleveland Browns for Myles Garrett, and he is a force of his own.

If there were any player who may experience a big boost from the Garrett arrival, it is Young.

Young might not draw the same kind of double teams that Garrett will, giving him the chance to get loose and get after the quarterback. The pair may just be one of the most dominant pass rush duos in the NFL if they can gel together the right way.

Per ESPN analytics, Young had a 32 percent pass rush win rate in 2025, and that number may significantly jump if Garrett draws more attention. That is not to say the young defender does not draw his own attention, but offenses will have a lot to consider, and stopping a player who got 23 sacks in 2025 might be the better course of action.

That said, Young has continued to elevate his game every year, and the 2025 season proved he is becoming a massive pass rush threat in his own right. Granted, losing his partner in Verse may impact the way he played in 2025, but he has a strong future Hall of Famer to guide him and pair with him now.

Through three seasons, Young as 27.5 sacks, and that number will undoubtedly grow.
